Science Camp

      Science Camp is so much fun! I just came back and it was awesome. My new hiking boots were really comfortable. I got them from Big 5 for 20 dollars. Isn't that amazing! 
My naturalist was really fun, her nature name was Nejma. That means star in Arabic. Plus my camp leader was really nice. I totally want to be a camp leader in my junior and senior year of high school. My teacher said if I really liked Science Camp I should think about being a naturalist. Now I decided to think about it. 

      There are somethings you should bring to Science Camp.
As in...
  • 5 normal shirts
  • 5 jeans(I wore jeggings and they are completely okay)
  •  3 pajama shirts
  • 2 pajama pants
  • a toothbrush
  • a brush
  • a big enough towel
  • toothpaste
  • mouthwash
  • camera
  • flashlight(needed)
  • sunglasses
  • a warm hat(mostly to sleep in)
  • gloves/mittens(optional)
  • 2-3 warm jackets
  • tennis shoes
  • flip-flops(for the shower)
  • a notebook
  • pencil/pen
  • a stuffed animal
  • a sleeping bad
  • extra blanket
  • anything else your teachers and school tell you to bring!
A trick I came up with was too wear the clothes I was going to wear tomorrow and wore it under my pajamas. The next morning all I had to do was remove my pajama shirt and pant. Easy right? One of my cabin mates created another trick that saves time. Since you have to wait to take a shower you put the shampoo in your hair before you get ready, so all you have to do is wash it. Smart huh? The prescription are really annoying, but you need it.
I just had carsick medicine before the trip too Science Camp, but I had to sit in the front without the medicine. IMPORTANT- don't sit in the back if your carsick just to be without your friends. Throwing up is not worth that! You can see your friends at school. The food is amazing and the sun-butter and jelly sandwiches are okay. The sand in the beaches are really annoying. So you should wear really tight shoes for that. Plus flip-flops for the shower are ideal.
